DESIGNING HUMAN-CENTERED SPACES
We are a boutique architecture and interior design firm.
Spaces are an integral part of human life. Be it the places where we feel productive, where we have our wildest ideas or, where we felt an emotion that printed the space forever in our mind.
We believe in creating spaces that foster human connections. That's why we focus on defining the experiences that these spaces were intended for and once we do that, we give to each detail the highest level of attention.
NURTURING HUMAN CONNECTIONS
We specialize in providing bespoke and comprehensive architecture and interior design solutions for buildings and interior spaces starting from project inception to completion. We believe in integrating architecture, interior design and landscape design such that all elements are in complete harmony. MEET THE TEAM
AWARD WINNING INTERIOR DESIGNER WITH A LOVE FOR DESIGNING FUNKY INTERIORS WITH AN EDGE.
From moving to Dubai in 2006 until 2013, Veena has worked for reputed interior design consultants on multiple large-scale projects across hospitality, commercial and residential sectors with reputed clients, developers and hotel operators. Armed with this background, in 2013 she left the secured life of a fulltime job to not only be able to give better care for her children but also to establish Veena Siddharth Design Studio. Her first project at VSDS was that of a lead interior designer for six Rove hotels representing a UK based design firm - Stride Treglown. These projects have won awards and have become trend-setting projects in the region. Over fifteen years of work experience have ingrained in her a belief that it is important to be one’s own critic, especially in a fast-moving industry in which skills and concepts quickly become out-dated. A truly progressive designer must be ready to take advantage of every opportunity to learn in order to accomplish the goal of creating a design with meaning.
A PASSIONATE ARCHITECT WHO LOVES TO INTEGRATE NATURE INTO HIS DESIGNS.
SIDDHARTH LEADS ARCHITECTURE PROJECTS AT VS DESIGN STUDIO.
Siddharth’s journey of design began in India where he worked on 5-star hospitality and commercial projects. He wanted to raise the bar and explore designing in different regions, therefore Dubai was the next step in his career. He moved to Dubai in 2005 and worked with Archgroup Consultants, who exposed him to prestigious high-rise buildings, medium scale and master planning projects that spanned across the sectors of residential, hospitality and commercial. The nine years Siddharth spent with Archgroup Consultants enabled him to gather experience in design, detailing, coordination and constructability.
To further develop his understanding of procurement, management and construction of projects in the built environment, Siddharth pursued and completed his masters in construction project management. The program was intensive, challenging and provided the opportunity for some valuable professional reading. Siddharth was awarded a distinction for his dissertation titled ‘Application of Offsite/Modern methods of construction in UAE’.
Moving on, Siddharth joined NORR Consultants, in Dubai, where he worked in a leadership capacity on mega projects in the middle east. His contribution on the 5 star resort project in Al Zohra in Ajman, the high-end mega mall project in Tehran and the mixed-use high-rise tower in Qatar have been instrumental in his evolvement as a highly dependable designer, who can manage projects from concept through execution.
AN INTERIOR DESIGNER WHO HAS A PASSION IN CREATING 'PHENOMENOLOGICAL' SPACES THAT ARE DARING, FUNCTIONAL AND BEAUTIFUL.
Marah's strengths lie in not only turning ideas into reality and developing spaces, but also decorate and combine colors, lighting and materials to achieve high end aesthetics. Holding a bachelors degree in interior design from the American University of Sharjah, Marah was well prepared to engage right away in the professional field of design, and in large scale and prestigious projects such as the 500 bed Zayed Military Hospital where she was appointed by AE7 consultants to be the FF&E designer of the project that spanned over 121,000 Sq. mts. The project gave Marah knowledge about the latest trends and best requirements for material specifications. She interpreted this knowledge into the projects she worked on ranging from residential, commercial and hospitality projects such as the Meydan Hotel, Entisar Tower, Meydan headquarters and high end serviced apartments in the new Dubai Water Canal District.
Marah also holds an MBA degree that gives her insights into business strategies to utilize when designing for commercial projects.
